How do you prepare for the Tour? I’ve been doing a lot of long
slow miles with a lot of strength work. As it’s still very early in the
season I haven’t been doing many intensive rides. With the National
Championships leading up to the Tour it means that I am able to ride
into a bit a form.
What do you hope to achieve in the Tour? I’d like to have a
strong ride and challenge for a good overall classification or a stage
win.
Someone you look up to: I find inspiration within myself.
Favourite music: I like everything – it depends on my mood what I
listen to.
Favourite film: I watch a lot of movies across a range of genres.
Favourite food: Seafood. Definitely not pasta!
