Paul Crake Appeal
On November 11 Paul Crake (rider for Team UniSA- Australia 2006) was racing in 8th stage of the Powernet Tour of Southland, New Zealand, when a freak gust of wind blew five cyclists off the road.
His injuries were severe and the prognosis is serious but Paul remains hopeful that he will walk again.
People who have experienced a serious accident in their family or immediate circle of friends will know that the road to recovery can be draining emotionally and economically.
UniSA joins with Cycling Australia to encourage people to donate to the Paul Crake Appeal.
You can also bid online for a Tour de France "Maillot jaune" signed by seven time winner Lance Armstrong. All proceeds will go to the Australian Cycling Federation Support Paul Crake Appeal.
