Study Communication, International Studies & Languages

Our graduates emerge as creative, innovative, and work-ready professionals.

Our programs have been developed through extensive consultation with industry and the wider community, equipping our graduates with the skills and knowledge to succeed in an array of employment environments and industries.

The vibrant professional world of the creative industries is constantly evolving, creating many new and diverse career opportunities. To cater for these dynamic and highly specialised fields, the University of South Australia offers a range of programs, providing students with a specialised pathway to fulfil their career aspirations.

Our innovative programs prepare students for careers on the global stage in a range of areas, with graduates finding employment as television presenters, filmmakers, publishers, writers, linguists and political advisors, along with an array of careers which are yet to be invented. Students benefit from our extensive relationships with industry and learning is further developed through professional concentration courses. These courses are designed to develop highly desirable workplace skills including the ability to write and present at a professional standard, to analyse complex communication problems and to work with others successfully, setting UniSA graduates apart from the rest.

Our programs are enriched with practical real-world experiences through internships and international exchange opportunities. Students also gain valuable experience on-campus, in state-of-the-art television, sound, editing and radio studios as well as with the use of industry standard editing, animation, multimedia and language labs.
