A presidential welcome

PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS: from left, Thu Nguyen (from Vietnam), Nilan Go Yu (Philippines), Latifat Akinbowale (Nigeria), Jennie Cederholm (Sweden) and Seidu Malik (Ghana)They’re a long way from home but they are better prepared than Dorothy ever was. Twenty international students from as far afield as Sweden, Brazil and Bangladesh have been awarded President’s Scholarships by UniSA.

The students were welcomed to the University at a recent reception hosted by UniSA’s Vice Chancellor Professor Denise Bradley and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Ian Davey.

The President’s Scholarships cover tuition fees and in most cases a living allowance to candidates who have studied at one of UniSA’s many partner universities and have decided to pursue PhD at UniSA.
