Young artist award added to show
A new art section award has been added to Royal Adelaide Show Art Purchase Exhibition for artists aged between 18-25 years old - the Kym Bonython Encouragement Award.
Friends of the South Australian School of Art President, Jack Condous, has been appointed convenor of this year’s Exhibition and says it’s a great chance for artists to exhibit and sell their work.
"More than 500,000 people visit the Royal Adelaide Show each year and with this new award for young artists, it’s a nice opportunity for student artists to display their work publicly," he says.
