Dr Karl counsels IT careers
High profile author and radio and television science commentator, Dr
Karl Kruszelnicki flicked the IT career switch for hundreds of high
school students with an entertaining presentation at UniSA’s City West
campus last month.
Dr Karl blended learning with levity in a talk that covered the history and future of IT, highlighting the opportunities and advances in the field and the options available to students currently in years 10 to 12.
"You’ll never be short of a job because IT is everywhere in our society. The field is so large that you can basically pick and choose where you want to go and what you want to do," Dr Karl said.
