Footy player tops the class
Third year Bachelor of Education student Paul Thomas will be talking
from experience when he tells his primary or junior primary school
students that one point can make all the difference.
The Central Districts midfielder has just won the South Australian Football League’s highest honour for the best and fairest player in the competition – the Magarey medal. Polling 22 votes from the umpires, Paul beat a team mate and the team captain of another club by just one vote.
At just 22 years old this is bound to be one of Paul’s career highlights – we wish him many more on and off the field.
