In the exam room

What do I have to take into my exam?

You must bring your Student ID card to your examination.

If you have made alternative arrangements you must bring your access plan.

What can I take into my exam?

You may take the following into examination venues:

Calculators, text books, and notes may only be brought in to an examination venue when it is clearly specified on the examination timetable. All items must comply with specifications on the timetable and must not have been tampered with or contain any additional notes or material.

What can't I take into my exam?

Personal items, including handbags, backpacks, mobile phones (even if switched off), personal digital assistants etc. will not be permitted.  Secure storage for these items is provided. Please ensure that you arrive at your examination venue in plenty of time to secure your bag in the designated bag room. 

Students should note that whilst the bag room is supervised by security staff, personal belongings are left at your own risk.  The University of South Australia takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to property brought into the exam venue, including any items that are confiscated and stored in the bag room.

Students found with unauthorised items may be subject to disciplinary action.
