Exam arrangements for external student
Exam centre allocation
External students are allocated to an exam centre based on the mailing address which is recorded on the student record 5 weeks prior to the start of the scheduled examination period. It is your responsibility to ensure the address details are correct at this date.
If you reside within the Adelaide metropolitan area you are required to sit examinations with internal students at the designated university venue.
If you reside outside the Adelaide metropolitan area you will be allocated to one of our approved exam centres.
Exam centre notification
An email will be sent to your UniSA student email account advising you of the examination centre that you have been allocated to approximately three weeks prior to the start of the final exam period. As mid-study period tests usually occur early in each study period we will endeavour to advise you as soon as possible, usually no later than the week prior to the test.
Information relating to the arrangements for students studying a course externally can be found in section 6.7 of the Assessment Policies and Procedures Manual.
