Awarded to the student with the best Practical Analysis paper for WELF 4019 Social Work Field of Education 2, as part of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Social Work.

Adelaide Advertising and Design Club Award

Awarded annually to a Bachelor of Visual Communication student and a Bachelor of Visual Communication (Honours) student. Selection will be based on graduation show presentation.

Armstrong Award in Architecture

Nomination is based on academic merit in Design Studio 2 and Architecture and Environment results of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Architecture. Three nominees are selected based on academic excellence as indicated by their GPA.
Value: $1000 in 2 annual instalments of $500 12 months apart

Armstrong Award in Interior Architecture

Nomination is based on academic merit in Design Studio 2 and Architecture and Environment results of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture. Three nominees are selected based on academic excellence as indicated by their GPA.
Value: $1000 in 2 annual instalments of $500 12 months apart

Artichoke Magazine Prize in Interior Architecture

Architecture Media through it's design journal 'Artichoke' offers a prize for one final year student at each of the interior design/interior architecture degree courses in Australia and New Zealand. Awarded to a final year student who demonstrates excellence in the visual, written and verbal communication of their final ARCH 4012 (Interior Architecture Studio 8) project.
Value: 2 year subscription to 'Artichoke' magazine and image of project citation in an issue of 'Artichoke' magazine.

Australian College of Education (SA Chapter) The Tappa Tangka Manninendi Medal

Awarded to the best Indigenous student.
Value:  $100 and a medal

Australian College of Education (SA Chapter) Top Education Graduate Award

Awarded annually to the top teacher education graduate from each of the universities in South Australia.
Value:  Certificate and a year's membership of the College as an Associate Member.

Australian Decorative & Fine Arts Society, Adelaide Inc, Award

Awarded for object-based studio work to an outstanding graduating third year student in the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Specialisation) program offered by the South Australian School of Art.

Australian Graphic Design Association Award

Awarded annually to a Bachelor of Visual Communication student and a Bachelor of Visual Communication (Honours) student.  Selection will be based on graduation show presentation.

The Australian Library and Information Association Prize

Awarded to an outstanding student graduating from the Graduate Diploma in Information Studies and nominated to ALIA by the University.

Australian Literacy Educators' Association University Prize

This award recognises outstanding teacher education students in their final core English/Literacy Curriculum course.

Australian Psychological Society Prize

Awarded to the student who gains the top overall mark in the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).

Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (South Australia) Prize

The prize shall be awarded to the student who has achieved the most outstanding results in WELF 5006 and WELF 5007 Case Management in Vocational Rehabilitation 1 and 2.

The Brain Injury Network (BINSA) Student Journalism Award

Awarded to two final year Bachelor of Art (Journalism) students for a 750 word feature article on an aspect of the topic of brain injury.

Caroma Dorf Prize in Interior Architecture

Awarded to the student enrolled in the bachelor of  Interior Architecture who achieves the highest aggregate mark in Interior Architecture Studio 7:  Advanced and Interior Architecture Studio 8:  Advanced.

Cecil Teesdale-Smith (Literary) Award

This award was established in memory of Cecil Teesdale-Smith who was a lecturer in Literary Studies at the Magill Campus.
The award is for excellence in creative writing, and is offered on an annual basis.

Cida Technology Prize in Interior Architecture

Awarded to the Interior Architecture student with the best demonstrated integration of technology in their final year exhibition presentation.

The Civic Trust of South Australia Award for Social and Environmental Awareness in the Design of the Built Environment

Nomination is based upon design studio, honours or elective project submission and presentation evaluated on the Civic Trust of South Australia Award selection criteria.
The successful applicant/s will be chosen upon their project meeting the social capital, human and environmental welfare and built environment objectives of the Civic Trust of South Australia.  Students will be invited to present their project to a panel.

The Concrete Institute of Australia and Precast Manufacturers Association of South Australia Prize

Selection is based on academic merit in Architectural Design Studio 10 for innovative use and / or demonstrated understanding of concrete and precast concrete products in the final design project.  Selection of the prize is made from projects submitted for final exhibition.
Value: $500

Consultants Prize in Industrial Design

Awarded to the most outstanding student enrolled in the Bachelor of Industrial Design course Industrial Design Studio (Final Project) ARCH 4040.
Value: $1000 cash prize and certificate

The Constance Gordon-Johnson Sculpture Prize

The Constance Gordon-Johnson Sculpture Prize will be offered to final year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Visual Arts with a specialisation in Sculpture and Installation at the South Australian School of Art.
The annual prize is to assist with the professional development of the award recipient/s in the field of art practice.

De Lissa Institute Association of Early Childhood Graduates Inc Graduate Entry Prize

Awarded annually to an outstanding student from the Bachelor of Education program (Early Childhood) (Graduate Entry) student. The prize is awarded for excellence in completing all three practicums (Child Care, Sessional Preschool and Junior Primary).

Dean W Berry Prize in Architecture

Awarded to the architecture student with the highest mark in level 3 Practice Management Professional.
Value:  $250

Department for Correctional Services Award

Awarded annually to a social work student whose work focuses on social work in the criminal justice system and can include a relevant Honours thesis, or an appropriate field work placement yielding a tangible result, or completion of the course Contemporary Practice Approaches, and the work is of an excellent standard.
Selection will be made cooperatively by the School's academic staff and the Senior Staff Development Officer (Professional Services) of the Department of Correctional Services.

Design Institute of Australia Modelmaking Prize in Interior Architecture

Awarded on the basis of the Modelmaking project in Design Studio 1.

Early Childhood Australia (SA Branch) Prize

This award is presented to a student graduating from the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education for excellence and commitment to the care and education of young children.

Ethel Barringer Memorial Prize

Awarded to an outstanding student majoring in Printmaking and graduating from the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Specialisation).

Fisher Jeffries Christmas Card Commission

Awarded to a 3rd year Visual Communication (Illustration Design and Graphic Design) student for the design of a unique Christmas card for distribution.
Value: $2,500 is paid to the selected student. $250 voucher for art materials awarded to runners-up.

Hames Sharley Prize in Architecture

The Hames Sharley Prize in Architecture recognises outstanding academic achievement by a student enrolled in the final year of their undergraduate architecture program. It provides support for the graduate's transition into the professional Master of Architecture Program, provides an opportunity for employment in architectural practice and promotes membership of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Hames Sharley Prize in Interior Architecture

The Hames Sharley Prize in Interior Architecture recognises outstanding academic achievement by a student enrolled in the final year of their undergraduate interior architecture program. It provides support for the student's transition into professional practice, provides an opportunity for employment in interior design practice, and promotes membership of the Design Institute of Australia.

Awarded to the student with the highest grade point average in the field of design in the South Australian School of Art.

IMAGINiT Technologies Prize for Presentation in Architecture

Awarded to the student, enrolled in the Bachelor of Architecture at UniSA, with the best demonstrated presentation integrating digital representation in their final-year exhibition presentation. All students exhibiting in the final-year exhibition are eligible.
Value: Certificate and NFS AutoCAD software with 12 or 24 months time restriction.

ISIS Projects Prize in Interior Architecture

The ISIS Projects Prize in Interior Architecture is available to all students enrolled in BUIL 3007 (Design Construction Tenancy). The awarded student is selected on the basis of demonstrated excellence in their tenancy documentation assignment in this course.
Value: 2 weeks work placement with ISIS Projects and a certificate.

The Jane Harper Honours Research Prize

Awarded to the highest achieving student undertaking the fourth year with honours course in the MBED Junior Primary and Primary program at UniSA. The highest achieving result will be based on the final grade for the honours research thesis.
Value: $500

John Christie Wright Memorial Prize

Awarded to an outstanding student majoring in Painting and graduating from the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Specialisation).
Value:  Certificate of Achievement

Laminex Group Prize in Interior Architecture

The prize will be awarded to the student enrolled in level 2 of the Bachelor of Interior Architecture (DBIR) who achieves the best joinery design in the documentation assignment for the course Design Construction Detailing (BUIL 3005).
Students completing the assignment will be required to give notice of their wish to be considered for the prize. The award will be determined by a panel comprising two members of the staff of the School and two representatives of the donors.
Value: Green star Training Package from Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) (approximately worth $3000)

The Lydia Longmore Memorial Award

Awarded to the final year student in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education who has completed the most outstanding junior primary teaching practicum and has achieved high academic results over the four years of the program.
Value:  $500

Lysaght Award for Outstanding Achievement

Awarded to a student who has completed the fourth year of the Bachelor of Architecture program and has gained the highest aggregate mark in the courses Architectural Design Studio 6 (Construction) and Architectural Design Studio 8 (Construction).
Value:  $1,000 to be used for architectural travel and study approved by the Head of School

The National Nine News Student Journalism Award

Awarded for the best television presentation by members of the journalism television class.
Value:  $500

Nicholas Opie Travelling Award in Architecture and Design

Award is open to all Architecture, Interior Architecture and Industrial Design students at 3rd and 4th year levels in Construction in the Workshop or Construction on Site. Students will make application by journal/portfolio of design and construction and (up to 4 students) will be judged on their construction strategy, philosophy and constructability. They will also be required to provide an itinerary of their travel plans.

The Professor Jim Gaite Prize

The prize shall be awarded to the graduating student who has achieved the highest result in each graduating class enrolled in the Master of Social Science (Counselling) in Hong Kong.

Royal Australian Institute of Architects/Bates Smart Graduation Prize in Architecture

Awarded to the student with the highest GPA in their final year of the Bachelor of Architecture, selected from a shortlist of the top five students who each make a presentation of their final year studio work to the selection panel. The panel will select the winner on the basis of demonstrated understanding of architectural practice, professional presentation, application of theoretical and technical knowledge and demonstrated skills in architectural design.

The prize will be awarded to the student who has completed the Graduate Diploma in Communication (Public Relations) or the Master of Arts (Communication Management) with the highest GPA in the program.

Urban Culture Furniture Prize in Interior Architecture

The Urban Culture Furniture Prize in Interior Architecture is open to all fourth year Bachelor of Interior Architecture students enrolled in Interior Architecture Studio 7 (ARCH 4011) and Interior Architecture Studio 8 (ARCH 4012). It is awarded to the Interior Architecture students from the School of Art, Architecture and Design incorporating the Louis Laybourne Smith School of Architecture and Design with the best demonstrated design progress in Interior Architecture Studio 8 at the time of judging. Closing date: first Thursday of the mid-study period break in Study Period 5.
Value: Stylecraft chair (approximately worth $900) and $600 (approximately)

The University of South Australia Award of Excellence in Psychology Book Prize

The prize is awarded twice yearly and is offered to the two highest scoring students in the first year of the Malaysian HELP Institute's American Degree Program in Psychology.
