The Council of the University of South Australia reserves the right to not make a nomination for an award if the candidates are not deemed to be of sufficient merit.
Chancellor's Letters of Commendation
Chancellor's Letters of Commendation will annually recognise students:
- who have completed at least 36 units in an undergraduate degree program (including degrees with honours and honours degrees); and
- have completed a minimum 18 units towards that program within the year of awarding; and
- obtained a cumulative program grade point average in the top 5%
of all students in that division / Centre for Regional Engagement
for study undertaken in that program at UniSA.
University Merit Awards
The University Merit Awards will annually recognise students:
- who have completed at least 36 units in an undergraduate degree program (including degrees with honours and honours degrees); and
- have completed a minimum 18 units towards that program within the year of awarding; and
- obtained a cumulative program grade point average that places the student in the top 15% (excluding the top 5%) of all students in that division / Centre for Regional Engagement for study undertaken in that program at UniSA..
Students eligible for a Chancellor's Letter of Commendation will not also receive a University Merit Award for that year.
