Overview of UniSA induction sessions and resources
Below is a brief overview of the current sessions and information
that is available for inclusion in a new staff member's induction
program. Managers should refer to the University's Induction Framework
when developing an induction program.

- Corporate Induction Sessions (provided 4 times per
year and managed by Human Resources. An opportunity to hear from
and meet with the Vice Chancellor and senior management group
and hear presentations on key issues the define who we are as an
institution. - only available to continuing and fixed contract
staff - not available for casuals or adjunct staff)
- Induction Web Site (providing corporate induction -
available to all staff)
- Induction Handbook -(available on Induction and Staff
Development web site and from HR Coordinators - available to all
staff)
- Quick Guide for Sessional Staff - (available on
Induction and Staff Development web site and from HR
Coordinators - available to all sessional staff)
- Performance management discussions with Supervisor
(legislative component - should include code of conduct,
copywrite, equity, OHS&W induction using OHS&W induction
checklist)
- Divisional Induction Sessions - (provided 2 times per
year - covering divisional corporate information and local
service providers - available to all division staff)

by your supervisor in your School or Unit)

- An introduction to the Teaching and Learning environment is
provided as part, or related to Divisional Induction events.
- May also include individual meetings with Divisional Dean:
Teaching and Learning in some Divisions.
