What can I study? Living in Adelaide

Prabath Wijesinghe

Bachelor of Engineering Electrical and Electronic

After a lot of Research UniSA became my preference. It’s a University that has got potential to grow and the progress in the past few years have shown evidence of this. UniSA also has a good electrical engineering school that has produced many successful graduates. The Uni also gives great opportunities from scholarships to first hand work experiences and internships.

The facilities provided by the University including the short courses given by the library staff were very helpful. In addition I could find most friendly local and international students. Further, I found UniSA has very large databases and easy approach techniques. It is very helpful as a researcher.

‘Adelaide is the ideal city for study in Australia. It is peaceful and has great public transport. I drive a car here but even without one you can get around easily. Costs are also low. I work a casual job and earn around AUD$20 per hour which is a fairly common rate in Australia.’
