City of AdelaideThe State of Australian Cities Conference will be held at the City East campus at the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide. 

Accommodation may be booked via the registration form.  Special rates have been obtained by the organisers, however you are not limited to these options. Information on accommodation available.

Registration Entitlements

Full and Student* Registration fees cover attendance at all sessions Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 November 2007 inclusive; morning and afternoon teas and lunches Wednesday 28, Thursday 29 and Friday 30th November; one set of abstracts and proceedings on CD and conference satchel. The Conference Dinner at the National Wine Centre Thursday 29 November is an additional cost of $80 for all delegates and guests. Attendance at the Civic Reception hosted by the Adelaide City Council Wednesday 28 November is free but places are limited and attendance is strictly on a first come, first served basis.

*Student registration fees apply to full time students producing a letter confirming their enrolment status.

The Conference Dinner at the National Wine Centre Thursday 29 November is an additional cost of $80 for all delegates and guests. Cancellations and Refunds

Registration cancellations postmarked on or before 1 November 2007 will incur a fee of $100. No registration refunds will be made for cancellations after 1 November 2007. Refunds in relation to accommodation, tours and the social program are at the discretion of the venues and operators.

The Conference Organisers reserve the right to change dates, program and speakers without notice due to circumstances beyond their control.

Insurance

Insurance, including medical cover and expenses incurred in the event the Conference is cancelled, is your responsibility. We recommend you discuss your insurance cover with your travel agent. The policy should include loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the Conference or through the cancellation of the Conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.

Privacy

The SOAC 2007 Organising Committee collects name and address information for the sole purpose of providing meeting information and materials to registrants. Address lists for 2007 registrants will be forwarded to the organisers of the next Conference. Registrants may request that their address not be disclosed by informing the Conference Secretariat when registering.
