| The Hawke Ambassador Program differs from traditional international exchange or study abroad programs. Students will be based within an international non-government organisation (NGO), usually at an overseas location and working as a volunteer, rather than undertaking formal study at an overseas university. |

Professor Elisabeth Porter (Head of School – International
Studies) presented at the SA Model UN Conference on the subject of ‘Building
Peace with Justice and Security’. She boldly reminded everyone peace,
justice and security are closely connected and Australians should be
bothered about issues of peace, justice and security.
