Sustainable Environments Research Group (SERG)

The Sustainable Environments Research Group (SERG) conducts and supervises research  into the sustainable use of natural ecosystems and human environments. SERG is a research group within the School of Natural & Built Environments (NBE) at the University of South Australia.

The primary goals of SERG are to carry out research, education, and leadership in the study and management of natural ecosystems & human environments, incorporating the three pillars of sustainability: natural, social and economic.

Expertise of SERG members includes the fields of ecology, conservation biology, geomorphology, environmental restoration and rehabilitation, bush foods and pharmaceuticals, tourism and interpretation, ecotourism, and environmental education. See the SERG members page for further details.
