Call for Workshops/ Lectures and Displays
Friday August 21, 2009
Does your school or organisation have a suitable workshop, interactive presentation or static display that could be included in the Science at the Lakes 2009 program of activities. If yes, the Science at the Lakes Committee invite you to register.
All activities must relate to science education and must be suitable for school students in the ages of school years 4 - 10. Priority will be given to activities that provide an interactive and fun experience for students.
For examples of previous activities, please see the 2008 program. Perhaps you could build the project into your curriculum and have your Year 10/11 or 12's actually present the workshops to gain marks towards their SACE? Perhaps you have been undertaking an interesting science project that could be showcased and shared with other schools. Whatever fun science activity you have, Science at the Lakes encourages schools to get involved.
Online registrations for workshops has now closed, however there is still space available for static displays.
