Call for Workshops
The Science at
the Lakes Committee is putting together an exciting program for 2010. We
would like to invite schools to participate with an activity,
presentation or static display. If you have a special science project
you would like to showcase – a science activity that you would like to
share, why not get involved in Science at the Lakes by providing an
activity.
Some of this year’s activities include flight simulation, Bugs N Slugs, racing robots, GPS orienteering, electric and solar cars and exploring the solar system at the planetarium – but we would also like to see new activities from schools. For an idea of the type of activity you could run, a list of activities from the 2009 program is available online.
Even if you are not from schools but your organisation conducts educational outreach programs to schools, we would like to invite you to participate with workshop activities.
If you have any further questions about the registration process or the activities please do not hesitate to call Pink Hong on 8302 5341 or email pink.hong@unisa.edu.au.
