Science at the Lakes

Science at the Lakes (SATL) is a free science and technology event for primary, middle and early secondary school students that is now in it's fifth year. The 2008 event is part of National Science Week and hosts a program filled with fun and challenging interactive activities, displays and demonstrations. The event will run from 10am to 2pm at the University of South Australia Mawson Lakes Campus. 

The 2007 event saw some 1300 students from some 27 South Australian primary and secondary schools attend a great day of activities.  With some 30 activities on offer there was plenty of great science events for students to get involved in. Schools MUST complete an online registration form.  Registrations open at midday Tuesday July 1 and places will be allocated on a first come basis.  In 2007 the event booked out in just over 48 hours so schools must be quick.

Science at the Lakes is a National Science Week event hosted by the University of South Australia at the Mawson Lakes campus in collaboration with:
