Financial Planning Scholarship
The scholarship is established to provide financial support to a full time 3rd year student interested in developing a career in financial planning, and may be used to defray tuition fees, and other study and living expenses.
AMP Financial Planning Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled full time in the Bachelor of Applied Finance or Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Applied Finance double degree programs.
In addition, to be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
- be enrolled in the course BANK 3005 Applied Financial Planning in Study Period 2
- have achieved at least a credit average by the end of their second year according to the relevant program schedule
- be studying in Australia (onshore)
- have achieved at least a credit grade for the course BANK 2008 Financial Planning
Students interested in the scholarship must apply on the appropriate form available from the School of Commerce. The application must include a supporting statement of no more than 500 words, and should indicate why the applicant is interested in the financial planning discipline and interested in undertaking a career in financial planning.

This scholarship is to encourage potential honours students to
work with an existing research team and be supervised by experience
researchers.
It is open to current second and third year undergraduate students enrolled
in the Division of Business (students must be enrolled full time in the
Study period prior to and after the vacation period). The vacation scholarships
will be located at Mawson Lakes Campus. They require a
commitment of three days per week for three weeks in July or
November/December.

In addition to the scholarship payment of $2,000, 8 x 1 hour mentoring sessions will be offered to the successful applicant to meet with a Senior Accounting Partner at Eastwoods Group to assist in their assimilation between academia and the industry. Ehrenberg
Scholarship
The School of Marketing at the University of South Australia is offering a three year upfront student contribution amount undergraduate scholarship for an outstanding student enrolling in the Bachelor of Management (Marketing) for 2008, subject to the scholarship holder performing every year on average within the top quartile of the program. The award is named the Ehrenberg Scholarship, named after one of the world’s greatest marketing scientists Professor Andrew Ehrenberg of South Bank University London. Professor Ehrenberg’s leading edge work has had a major influence on the research and teaching of the School of Marketing. Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, a division of the University of South Australia, performs collaborative work with South Bank University's research centre.
All students with Tertiary Entrance Ranks (TER) of 95 or above who enrol in the Bachelor of Management (Marketing) for 2008 will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The award selection will be based on interview and the assessment criteria will be potential for excellence in marketing scholarship. More than one scholarship may be awarded if there are judged to be more than one outstanding candidate. Normal SATAC admission procedures apply. Once students are enrolled into the Bachelor of Management (Marketing) for 2008 the School will contact them.

Scholarships
The Division of Business is offering three scholarships valued at $4000 per annum, as a living allowance scholarship to contribute to independent academic learning of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
To be awarded for a period of three academic years to a student of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent who has been admitted to an undergraduate program offered by the Division of Business. Preference will be given to applicants who wish to study the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Tourism the Bachelor of Sport and Management.

Goodman Group Scholarship
The Goodman Scholarship will be awarded for the first time in 2008. This
scholarship is available to students studying full time in the second year
of the Bachelor of Business (Property) Program (DBPY).
In addition, to be eligible for the Scholarship a candidate must:
- have completed at least 36 out of 108 Program units (8 x 4.5)
- have achieved at least a credit average by the end of their first year according to the relevant Program schedule (Division Core Courses) and;
- be studying in Australia (onshore)

Pank
Prize for Entrepreneurial Activity
The Pank Prize for Entrepreneurial Activity is open to all current UniSA students and all alumni who have graduated in the past five years. Applicants can nominate a business partner who is not a UniSA student or alumni member to assist with their application for the award, worth $10,000 plus mentoring support for students or recent graduates to set up a new and innovative business in SA.
Submission must take the form of a business plan which is available from the School of Management website
Plans will be short listed by a panel of representatives from each division, and assessed by ITEK for real world applicability. It will be assessed on the strength of the idea, the reality of the opportunity and the passion of the applicant for the business. Short listed applicants will then have a chance to present the business idea to panel. The winning plan will be selected from a panel comprising the Managing Director of ITEK, the Director of the Centre for Development of Entrepreneurs, a representative of Business SA and a representative of the Pank Family Trust.
Prize winners will be asked to develop a plan, in conjunction with a mentor, which includes milestones and timelines for the first 12 months

Water Undergraduate Indigenous Scholarship
The SA Water Undergraduate Indigenous Scholarship was awarded for the first time in 2007. The scholarship was made available for 2nd/3rd year students studying full time in a program with either the Division of Business, Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment, Health Sciences or Education, Arts and Social Sciences.
To be eligible for this scholarship students must :
- Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
- Have an idea of their future in engineering and how the scholarship will be of benefit to them in achieving this
- Have an interest in SA Water Graduate Program and be willing to attend Graduate Program functions at SA Water
- Have the ability to be a positive ambassador for SA Water
This scholarship will not be awarded in 2008.

- Have a minimum GPA of 5.0 (credit average)
- Have a concept of their future in their preferred discipline and how the scholarship will be of benefit to them in achieving this
- Be a positive ambassador for SA Water

The School of Commerce (Honours) Scholarships are open to students who are enrolled full time in the DHBB Bachelor of Business (Honours)/Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program with a research focus in any discipline offered by the School of Commerce. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must study their honours year internally, full time in Australia (onshore).
The scholarships will be awarded to students considered most likely to succeed at producing research in the area of the School Commerce. Up to six scholarships will be awarded each year and will provide payments of $10,000 (each) for a single year.
All students considering admission into the Honours program are invited to apply for a scholarship by no later than the first Monday in January each year.
