Scholarship for continuing studentsAMP Financial Planning Grant

The grant is established to provide financial support to a full-time 3rd year student interested in developing a career in financial planning, and may be used to defray tuition fees, other study and living expenses. In addition to a monetary payment, AMP Financial Planning will also provide the recipient with an opportunity to spend a da working inside AMP, shadowing a staff member.

The AMP Financial Planning Grant is open to students who are enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Applied Finance or Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Applied Finance double degree programs. In addition, to be eligible for the scholarship a student must be enrolled in the course BANK 3005 Applied Financial Planning , have achieved at least a credit average by the end of their second year according to the relevant program schedule, be studying in Australia (onshore), have achieved at least a credit grade for the course BANK 2008 Financial Planning.

Applications will open online through the Scholarships Management System. Applicants must provide a supporting statement (maximum 500 words) outlining their interest in the financial planning discipline and why they are undertaking a career in financial planning. Shortlisted applicants will attend a panel interview and will be requested to answer a series of questions via presentation (supplied prior to the interview).

Australian Executor Trustees Law Founder Grant (Full Time)

The Australian Executor Trustees Law Founder Grant is available to students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws program and have completed both second year courses: Principles of Equity and Law of Trusts.

The grant will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and evidence of leadership ability. The recipient will not be eligible to receive other awards sponsored by Australian Executor Trustees.

The grant is valued at $5,000 based on a full-time load, and it will be paid to the recipient in two instalments after the census dates of 31 March and 31 August.

Scholarship for continuing studentsCEVA Logistics Scholarship

The scholarship is a one year scholarship for a student commencing 3rd year of the DBMA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) program (students apply at the end of 2nd year).
The recipient is required to partake in CEVA Logistics 12 month co-operative program the year immediately following the scholarship.

Centre for Tourism & Leisure Management Undergraduate Vacation Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to encourage potential honours students to work with, and be supervised by senior academic researchers. It is open to current second or third year undergraduate students enrolled in the Division of Business (students must be enrolled full time in the Study period prior to and after the vacation period) Vacation Scholarships - to be located at the Mawson Lakes Campus.

Value: $2,400 ($300 week x 8 weeks or pro rata equivalent for the 4 week winter scholarship).

The Dean of Law Grant

The Dean of Law Grant is awarded to students who are enrolled in Bachelor of Laws program or associated double degrees and have already completed 36 units of study. The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of academic merit to be be determined by the cumulative grade point average (GPA) achieved by the student in the following courses: Contracts A; Torts A; Legal Institutions and methods; Law, Society and Justice. Must be able to demonstrate financial as per university guidelines.

Consideration will also be given to the written statement submitted by the candidate. The scholarships is valued at $2000 based on a full-time load and it will be paid to the student in two instalments after the census dates 31 March and 31 August.

Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science Vacation Scholarship

The Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science Vacation Scholarship is open to students who have completed Buyer and Consumer Behaviour and are enrolled in or have completed one of the following: Bachelor of Management (Marketing) (DBMK), Bachelor of Management (Marketing), Bachelor of International Studies (DBMT), Bachelor of Marketing and Communication (DBMN), Business Double Degree (DBDD) or Bachelor of Business (Honours), Bachelor of Management (Honours), Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) (DHBB) programs with a research focus in the marketing discipline. Students are offered the opportunity to undertake research for a minimum of 6 weeks with experienced researchers in the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science within the School of Marketing.

Scholarship for new studentsEhrenberg Scholarship

The School of Marketing at the University of South Australia is offering a one year HECS-HELP undergraduate scholarship for an outstanding student enrolling in the Bachelor of Management (Marketing), Bachelor of Marketing and Communication or Bachelor of Management (Marketing), Bachelor of International Studies for the first time. The Scholarship is named after one of the world's greatest marketing scientists, Professor Andrew Ehrenberg, whose contribution to marketing science has had a major influence on the research and teaching of the School of Marketing. All commencing students with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 95 or above who enrol full-time in one of these programs will be eligible to apply. All candidates will be invited to attend an interview and the scholarship will be awarded based on students' potential for excellence in marketing. More than one scholarship may be awarded if the judges deem there to be more than one outstanding candidate.

The School of Marketing will contact eligible students by mail after they have enrolled in one of the specified programs.

Value: Payment of student HECS Fee contributions for one year for the Bachelor of Management(Marketing), Bachelor of Marketing and Communication or Bachelor of Management (Marketing), Bachelor of International Studies.

The Division of Business is offering three scholarships valued at $4000 per annum, as a living allowance scholarship to contribute to independent academic learning of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

To be awarded for a period of three academic years to a student of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent who has been admitted to an undergraduate program offered by the Division of Business.

The scholarship total is $12,000.

Joshua McDowell First Year Law Grant
The Joshua McDowell First Year Law Scholarship is available to students who are new to higher education and are enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws program or associated double degrees. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Selection will be based on the applicant's TER results and preference may be given to applicants from designated Northern Areas High Schools in the areas of Salisbury, Playford or Gawler.

The grant is valued at $5,000 based on a full-time load, and it will be paid to the recipient in two instalments after the census dates of 31 March and 31 August.

Joshua McDowell Second Year Law Grant
is available to students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws program or associated double degrees, and have already completed 36 units of study. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Scholarship for new studentsKevin Benger Community CPS Scholarship

Community CPS, one of the leading Credit Unions in Australia, is honouring the 12 years service of Chief Executive Officer Kevin Benger (CEO 1998-2010) by providing a scholarship to support a commencing student, either full-time or part-time, who is undertaking an undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines: Commerce (Accounting) or Applied Finance. Community CPS is a mutual organisation, with the highest ethical standards, owned by its members, and committed to providing a range of financial services with profits retained for growing the business. The scholarship is not restricted to CPS members and is open to all on the following criteria.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and enrolled in one of the following programs: Bachelor of Applied Finance, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Applied Finance.

The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic merit (minimum TER of 75), demonstrated financial disadvantage, a personal written statement (500 words) demonstrating career and personal goals and how the scholarship would assist them in achieving their goals, and performance at an interview.

Please note that the scholarship will not be offered until 2014.

Value: Up to $20,000. Full-time students will receive $5,000 per year (paid in two instalments) for a maximum of four years. Part-time students will receive $2,500 per year (paid in two instalments) for a maximum of eight years.

The recipient may also be offered the opportunity to undertake paid work experience at Community CPS Australia during vacation breaks.

Knight Frank Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students studying full time in the Bachelor of Business (Property) Program (DBPY).

A candidate must:

Minter Ellison Law Scholarship

Minter Ellison SA/NT have generously provided a scholarship to support commencing students who are undertaking an undergraduate Bachelor of Laws or associated double degree at UniSA.

The scholarship, valued at up to $16,000, intends to support full-time students who are from backgrounds that are currently underrepresented in the local South Australian legal profession. These students include: Indigenous students, students from a non-English speaking background, students who are financially disadvantaged, students from a rural or isolated location, and students with a disability. The scholarship supports the University's 'social justice' value, which aims to build social cohesion by achieving equitable educational access and outcomes across our diverse student community.

Applicants must: be Australian citizens, permanent residents or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; demonstrate financial disadvantage and be enrolled to study full-time. Applicants must provide a personal written statement (max 500 words) identifying their relevant equity group and outlining their career and personal goals and how the scholarship will assist them in achieving their goals.

The recipient will be selected on the basis of financial disadvantage, a personal written statement and performance at an interview. Academic merit (Tertiary Entrance Rank) will also be considered in the recipient selection.

Value: up to $16,000 which equates to $4,000 per year for a maximum of four years. Annual payments will be split in two instalments of $2,000 paid after the Study Period 2 and Study Period 5 census dates.

Scholarship for continuing studentsPank Prize for Entrepreneurial Activity

The Pank Prize for Entrepreneurial Activity is open to all current UniSA students and alumni. The prize is designed to assist the recipient set up a new and innovative business in South Australia. Applicants can nominate a business partner who is not a UniSA student or alumni member to assist with their application for the award, valued at $15,000 plus mentoring support.

The application and selection process consists of three stages:

The prize recipient will be asked to develop a plan, in conjunction with a mentor, which includes milestones and timelines for the first 12 months.

Value: $15,000 paid in instalments subject to the provision of tax invoices or receipts. The recipient will also receive mentoring support to the value of $15,000 from UniSA staff and from ITEK.

Scholarship for continuing studentsSchool of Commerce Honours Scholarships

The School of Commerce (Honours) Scholarships are open to students who are enrolled in (or are considering admission into) the Bachelor of Business (Honours)/Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program with a research focus in any discipline offered by the School of Commerce. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must study their honours year internally, in Australia (onshore). The scholarships will be awarded to students considered most likely to succeed at producing research in the area of the School Commerce. Up to six scholarships will be awarded each year and will provide payments of $10,000 (each) for a single year.

Selection will be based on the following assessment criteria:

The selection panel will consist of the Head of School, Commerce (or nominee) and two relevant academic members of the School of Commerce. The Head of School reserves the right to amend the interview panel if required. All students considering admission into the Honours program are invited to apply for a scholarship by no later than 30 November each year. Six scholarships at $10,000 each

School of Management Honours Scholarship

Are you near the end of your degree and thinking about further study? Have you considered Honours? Each year, the School of Management will offer up to five $10,000 scholarships for successful third year students to undertake a fourth year Honours program in management. Work with our senior researchers on a project that interests you. The opportunities are endless. Graduate with a qualification that can enhance your career prospects or prepare you for PhD studies within the school of management.

To be eligible, you must have successfully completed a third year of university study and be qualified and prepared to undertake a fourth year Honours program in the School of Management on a fulltime basis. We will award up to five scholarships each year, based on academic performance. If your application is successful, you will receive $10,000 which will be paid throughout your period of Honour's study. If a successful applicant does not commence in the DHBB program in the year of receiving the scholarship, the scholarship will be rescinded.

Scholarship for continuing studentsUniSA/Taylors College Scholarships

Three Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis - one for each of the programs listed below.
Bachelor of Commerce
Bachelor of Management (Marketing)
Bachelor of Applied Finance

One scholarship is to be awarded to the student who obtains the highest grade point average (GPA of 6.0 or above) in their first year of study at Taylors College in each of the above mentioned programs.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the recipient must be prepared to transfer to Adelaide to complete the recipient must be prepared to transfer to Adelaide to complete their final two years of their 3 year degree.

The value of each scholarship will equate to one year's tuition fees, to fund the second year of the student's degree undertaken in Adelaide, currently valued at $AUD18,800.

The scholarships are administered by the Malaysia Australia Columbo Plan Commemoration (MACC) scheme.

The University reserves the right not to award the scholarships if there are no suitable applicants.

Westfield SA Marketing Scholarship

The Westfield SA Marketing Scholarship is available to students who are commencing a marketing program and are enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Management (Marketing) or the Bachelor of Marketing and Communication undergraduate degree programs at UniSA.

The scholarship will be awarded to students who have a genuine interest in marketing and who are prepared to undertake mentoring at Westfield SA and the School of Marketing during their program.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, be able to demonstrate financial disadvantage and provide a personal written statement (max 1,000 words) outlining their personal and career objectives, their interest in marketing and how the scholarship will assist them in achieving their goals.

The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic merit (TER of 70, exclusive of bonus points, or greater), financial disadvantage, a personal written statement and performance at an interview.

Preference may be given to applicants who identify as an equity student, as recognised by the university (e.g. Indigenous, rural or isolated location, non-English speaking background, students with a disability) and relevant details should be included in the statement.

Value: $15,000 which equates to $5,000 per year for a maximum of three years. The annual payment will be made in two instalments of $2,500 after the Study Period 2 and 5 census dates, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
