Scholarship opportunities at UniSA

There are a huge variety of scholarships available at UniSA and all have differing opening dates and application processes. To find out which scholarships are open for application and how to apply, please visit the menu links on the left. A good place to start would be the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), to assist you with your search.

Individual scholarship descriptions will contain specific information about opening and closing dates. In the case there are no dates listed, a contact has been supplied so that you can obtain further information.

UniSA has a new Scholarships Management System which students can access by logging into the myUniSA Student Portal and clicking on my Studies. This will display a 'my Scholarships' link (on the right hand side of the page) which will take you to the my Scholarships home page.

The Scholarships Management System contains information for students pertaining to scholarships offered by UniSA, with the exception of research degree scholarships, international study tours, AusAID and IDP scholarships and some scholarships offered by external organisations.

You can apply for scholarships listed on the home page under 'Scholarship groups I may apply for' or 'Individual scholarships I may apply for'.

One of the essential criteria common to both of these scholarship schemes is financial disadvantage. One of the ways that you can verify financial disadvantage is by showing that you are in receipt of  a means tested Centrelink Benefit (e.g. Youth Allowance, Austudy, Abstudy etc), and/or a Health Care Card. Not all Centrelink benefits are means tested.

In 2008, Commonwealth Learning Scholarship (CLS) has been renamed Commonwealth Scholarships (CS) and an additional five new scholarships are being offered:
