Online Medici version 9.0 Access Training

The Introduction to Medici version 9.0 training is the foundation for staff using Medici version 9.0 for the first time. This training is also the prerequisite for user access to Medici version 9.0 and is available using CaptureCam-Pro software.

You will be required to complete four steps as part of your online training:

Step 1: Download the CaptureCam software

To view the Introduction to Medici CaptureCam modules you will need to install CaptureCam Player software.

To download this software select this link to the CaptureCam Player software, then select the Run button in the two dialogue boxes that will be displayed.

Once the software has been successfully installed (this takes approximately 5 seconds) press Alt+F4 to close the CaptureCam Player Installation application.

Step 2: View a series of CaptureCam modules

Please view the following modules, in the order they appear below, prior to completing the Introduction to Medici version 9.0 Assessment.

As these modules contain sound we recommend the use of headphones.

Modules can be undertaken individually at a time that is convenient to you and viewing times are indicated below. Completion of all modules will take approximately one hour.

To view a module, click the relevant module link, and then click the Run button in the two dialogue boxes that will be displayed.

Step 3: Complete an assessment

To gain access to the Medici version 9.0 system you will need to complete and satisfactorily pass the Assessment (PDF 51 KB). Please complete the assessment using the answer grid on page two of the access form below.

The test consists of 16 questions and a satisfactory pass will require 14 or more correct answers.  If you do not pass the assessment you will be expected to undertake it again.

Step 4: Fax or email your Assessment Answer Sheet to Student and Academic Services

Please complete the Medici Access form (PDF 30KB) including Unit Director/Division Manager authorisation and forward it to Andrew Bailey, Student Reporting Officer, Student and Academic Services, 101 Currie Street or fax to ext 22195.
