Scholarships, Prizes and Awards
Information relating to Scholarships, Prizes and Awards is maintained centrally by Student and Academic Services (SAS) and published in the Calendar and on the University website.
There are two websites which list currently available scholarships, prizes and awards:
Prizes and Awards
SAS calls for nominations each year following the availability of all academic results and schools have nominations approved by their school board. This information is reported to division offices and Academic Board for noting. A list is suppled to SAS by early March to be recorded against the student record in Medici prior to generation of transcripts for graduations.
Scholarships
The following scholarships and grants are administered by Student and Academic Services:
- Commonwealth Scholarships
- UniSA Study Grants
- UniSA Priority Grants
- Transition Grants
All other scholarships are administered locally by schools, divisions or the research office - contact details of individual scholarships can be obtained from the scholarships website (above).
Scholarship recipients are not currently recorded against the student record.
New scholarships, prizes and awards must be approved by School/Division Board, then Academic Board before being offered to students (please refer to the policies listed below).
Draft guidelines/criteria for new scholarships should be forwarded to the Scholarships Officer for review and comment before final submission to Academic Board. Further advice on scholarships, prizes and awards development is available from SAS.
