Examinations
An examination is a form of assessment whereby a student is required to undertake a specified academic task, within a limited period of time, normally between 1 and 3 hours. The location of the examination, as well as access to external assistance, is also normally regulated.
Please note: A student misreading the exam timetable will not be regarded as sufficient cause for absence from an exam.
In order to schedule examinations, schools update exam information directly into Medici. This allows schools to update, confirm, and correct exam information before the generation of the examination timetable. The purpose of this process is to improve the accuracy of exam information and reduce the number of corrections to be made in the final exam timetable.
