Study Opportunities
Through
the Schools of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Health Sciences and Nursing
and Midwifery, the Sansom Institute offers a variety of research study opportunities at
Honours, Masters and PhD level across a unique breadth of pharmaceutical,
medical and health-related fields.
With an emphasis on outcomes-based research aimed at improving health, the
Sansom provides a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment where students are
encouraged to explore their own ideas under the supervision of some of
Australia's leading scientists.
While the Institute boasts a vibrant research culture with over a dozen
research centres or groups and its own state-of-the-art research
facilities, our commitment to
real-world research means that many of our students conduct much of their
work at research laboratories based at organisations such as the Institute
for Medical and Veterinary Sciences (IMVS), the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the
Hanson Institute, and the Women's and Children's Hospital.
