Gifts of works of art

The Samstag Museum of Art is also registered to receive eligible works of art for the UniSA Art Collection. Gifts are exempt from capital gains tax. Donors can claim the cost of valuations and, in most cases, claim the full market value of the gift as a tax deduction.
