Internationalisation of research
Introduction
The seventh generic quality involves demonstrating international
perspectives in research in a discipline or professional area and as
a leading citizen. Higher degree by research students should be able to see
their specific field of research as extending internationally,
acknowledging that research paradigms cross national boundaries.

Research Education Support Activities (RESA) offers on campus workshops relevant to internationalisation of research as part of the core series (eg Being a scientist: building networks for future success in the Sciences, engineering and technology Advancing research program). Check the calendar for details of when these workshops are offered.

Networking index (RESA) provides links to online workshops, courses and resources. Particularly relevant is Networking in the research community online workshop, an interactive professional development resource that prompts users to consider their networks locally and more broadly, and offers ways of networking effectively on a number of levels.
Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation covers the areas: Knowledge Transfer and Commercialisation; Entrepreneurial Foundations; Leadership and Workplace Communication; Project Management for Research; Public Policy and Research.

Calendar of external funding sources for travel outlines the internal and external closing dates for external (government, industry etc) funding opportunities.Divisions, institutes and centres provide their research students with specific information about seminars and forums that include international speakers and international research scholars.
