A series of four workshops in higher degree by research (HDR) supervisor development is offered in 2011.
All workshops in this series are held at City East campus room P2-26.

culture Introduces a conceptual framework for research writing and publication and strategies for developing and sustaining writing groups. |

| 2 | Developing authority in writing Focuses on the development of an authoritative voice using different linguistic strategies. Journal abstracts and articles from different disciplines are circulated and analysed in small groups. |

| 3 | Providing feedback on writing Focuses on the pedagogical function and significance of providing constructive feedback on research writing and different strategies for doing so. |
