Writers' circles for continuing students
Writers' circles are language workshops for research students focusing on use of appropriate English conventions for research writing and speaking within the academic research context. These workshops run in connection with the core series (business, social sciences and humanities; sciences, health sciences, engineering and technology), and provide English language support for students for whom English is an additional language.
You will have opportunities to deal with writing issues, enjoy writing, ask questions, network, learn from one another and provide constructive peer feedback on participants' research writing. Regular attendance will enable you to contribute to a dynamic group of research students engaging with the challenge of developing their English writing skills during their research.
