 Watching TV advertising with eyes wide shut

People may pay little active attention to TV advertising, but it still affects their memory of brands, a University of South Australia study shows. Researchers from UniSA’s Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science recently coordinated a large scale in-home field experiment into advertising avoidance. full story

UniSA has secured funding to tackle outstanding minerals processing issues and develop synchrotron based technology that can simultaneously determine the structure and chemical composition of mineral samples at microscopic levels – a capability not possible in the laboratory. full story

 Proven benefits for chronically ill treated at home

Chronically ill patients who received home-based intervention experienced significantly fewer hospital admissions and deaths than those who received the usual care, with one major exception, according to a unique study by researchers from the University of South Australia. full story
