UniSA to play major role in sustainable energy development
UniSA
has won three of the four grants awarded this year by South
Australia’s Sustainable Energy Research Advisory Committee (SENRAC),
totalling $270,000.
SENRAC provides energy research and development grants for competitive proposals that have strong commercialisation prospects, environmental benefits and the potential to reduce costs for SA energy consumers.
The Honourable Karlene Maywald MP acknowledged the important contribution researchers make to the state’s development: 'These projects will help South Australia to use its energy supplies more efficiently and effectively, providing benefits to both businesses and individuals.'
