UniSA has a commitment to equity and access and recognises that some
Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students who have a disability, or long term
medical condition, may require financial assistance to undertake their
research project.
This grant recognises that HDR students with a disability may face additional research-related costs, such as the need for specialised equipment, transport costs or other support to enable them to complete their research project. They may also have limited ability to earn additional income whilst studying.
Grants of up
to $3,000 are available to help fund mobility, special equipment at home or
other types of assistance during the conduct of the research.
The grants are open to enrolled UniSA HDR students who have had their research proposal approved and are in the research phase of their degree. Students may be enrolled either part or full-time.
Applicants must have an Access Plan with UniSA arranged through the Learning and Teaching Unit Disability Adviser
