What are the entry requirements for the type of research degree program you are interested in applying for?

If you are an international applicant, you also need to check whether you meet the English language requirements
Applicants for a PhD at UniSA must:
- hold an Honours degree or a Bachelors degree with honours of at least class 2A in an appropriate discipline; or
- an appropriate Masters degree; or
- have other qualifications, professional experience or published research work that provide evidence of the ability to undertake advanced research appropriate to the proposed PhD program.
Applicants for a Masters degree by research at UniSA must:
- hold an Honours degree or a Bachelors degree with honours in an appropriate discipline; or
- a Bachelors degree and a preliminary course of study of honours standard; or
- an appropriate Masters degree; or
- have other qualifications, professional experience or published research work that provide evidence of the ability to undertake advanced research appropriate to the proposed Masters degree by research program.

Applicants for a professional doctorate by research at UniSA must:
- hold an Honours degree or a Bachelors degree with honours of at least class 2A standard in an appropriate discipline; or
- an appropriate Masters degree; or
- have other qualifications, professional experience or published research work that provide evidence of the ability to undertake advanced research appropriate to the proposed doctoral program; and,
- normally have five years practice in the relevant profession.
