Sustainable Research Excellence
The SRE is designed to support the performance of ACG research (see the Australian Competitive Grant Register for the full list of included funding schemes) by increasing funding to support the indirect costs of ACG research over and above that provided by the Research Infrastructure Block Grant. The funding available through the SRE will grow from a sector-wide total of $85 million in 2010 to $300 million by 2013, ensuring that this will be a significant funding source for UniSA in the future. Funding received from block grants such as the SRE supports centre and institute funding, the Supported Researcher Scheme and other initiatives.
