How Research Capacity and Compliance can advise you
Research Capacity and Compliance (RCC) staff members are available to provide you with expert advice on a range of research related administrative matters.
- We can help you source funding opportunities that best meet the research priorities of the UniSA researcher.
- We can assist you with the preparation of applications, including interpretation of guidelines, advice on budget preparation, compliance checking of category 1 project applications to ensure compliance with the relevant funding rules.
- We will submit your application to external funding sources (both hard copy and electronic depending on the requirements of the funding agency), such as the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
- We administer postdoctoral research fellowships awarded by external funding agencies.
- We maintain a database of grant applications in a central repository known as Research Master and monitors progress of all category 1 grant submissions.
- We will liaise with all areas of Research and Innovation Services (eg Research Education and Training and Business Innovation and Commercialisation Support) as well as the Human Resources and Finance Units to ensure all conditions are met in accordance with the relevant funding agreement and UniSA policies.
- We will provide advice on internal research funding to support your successful application for Category 1 grants
- We will advise you on research integrity and will support applications requiring ethics approval for projects involving animal and human, chemical hazards, biosafety and gene technology.
