Research
The research of the RCLC is characterised by collaboration locally, nationally and internationally:
- with fellow researchers locally, nationally and internationally to bring together complementary expertise;
- with industry partners to address real-world questions pertaining to languages and cultures;
- with professionals in a range of fields to examine the relationship of language and culture in diverse professional contexts;
- with teachers in participatory classroom-based research and professional development
- with students seeking to develop their research studies.
In our collaborative work we seek to develop sustained relationships over time, preferably in projects which are longitudinal in scope. Our commitment is to ongoing experimentation and development, a culture of inquiry, and ethical ways of working with others.
