The Counselling/Clinical Research Group

Clinical and counselling research is in a developmental phase in the School of Psychology at UniSA. Clinical research has focused on the supervision of clinical psychology students and the development of students as well as their supervisors, clinic procedures and client attendance, and the multifaceted work activities of clinical and counselling university academic staff. Counselling research has focused on describing the Australian counselling workplace and examinations of policy and other counselling professionalisation issues. Similarly, aspects of counselling supervision have been examined as has the use of technology (email etc.) in counselling work. Research has involved quantitative publications as well as scholarly text and article publications.
