Welcome to the School of Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy

The School of Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and Higher Degrees by Research across two disciplines of studies - Psychology, Social Work and Human Services - and specialisations in Human Factors and Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, and Mediation and Conflict Resolution.
The School is in a unique position whereby the union of social science disciplines allows the school to offer cross-disciplinary studies as well as offer professional degrees that are accredited with the professional bodies such as the Australian Association of the Social Workers and the Australian Psychological Society.
The School values engagement in scholarship and professionalism in practice, as well as active engagement in research. One of the key aims of the School is to advance research and the dissemination of knowledge concerning psychological and social issues, and the provision of human services, high level consultancy and applied psychological and social research relevant to the professions and the community. The School has two established Research Centres - the Centre for Sleep Research and the Centre for Applied Psychological Research.
