On-campus Pre-Enrolment Advice and Orientation Sessions - Mid-year intake

 

The Psychology Pre-enrolment Information and Orientation Session will provide essential information about your program and what courses you will need to enrol in for the second half of 2009.  Orientation activities introduce you to campus life, to people, and to the multitude of resources and support available at the University of South Australia.  We encourage you to attend.

Important advice about your program, enrolments and electives.

Psychology Pre-Enrolment and Orientation Session
conducted by the Program Director and staff from the School of Psychology
An essential enrolment advice session for first year students BEFORE YOU ENROL to explain the various courses in your first year and to give advice about choices you will need to make.  This will make your enrolment tasks so much easier.

We will also provide Orientation information about your Psychology program so that you will be ready to go when classes start.

Free lunch for All New Students
Join us for food and drinks.  A great opportunity to meet and talk with other new students.

Campus Tour
Student mentors will show you around the Magill campus.  Meet your tour guide in C1-34 at 1:30pm sharp.

Are you ready to Study?
Staff from our Learning and Teaching Unit will provide information and tips about studying at University.  Then you'll be ready when classes start.


WORKSHOPS FOR NEW STUDENTS

1.  Being a successful student
This session will focus on how to manage the challenges of adapting to student life and will give you information about the range of services and supports available to you while you are at Uni.
2.  Money matters
Practical tips about banks, shopping, avoiding financial traps, scholarships, budgeting and other ways to save money.  Includes useful guidelines and online resources to help you find work while you are studying; to know what employers expect of you, and ensure that you are being treated appropriately and paid fairly.
3.  Online @ UniSA
These information sessions explain the University's online environment.  Learn about MyUniSA and where to navigate to find resources on the UniSA website.
