Using UniSA Student ID Cards OR Casual User Cards purchased from an AutoLoader
There are two types of cards that can be used to pay for MONITORED Photocopying / Printing services in UniSA
UniSA Student ID Cards
When it was issued to you, your UniSA Student ID card was automatically encoded to allow you to use the Photocopiers and Printers installed in the Library. The information held in the associated system database for each valid card is:
- Your UniSA "Student ID Number"
- Your UniSA "logon username"
You can add funds to the balance held in your your UniSA Student ID card Monitor photocopying / printing account via the "Autoloader" device(s) located in the library.
Please refer to the instruction posters affixed on or near the autoloader(s) for details on how to add funds to your card.
These funds can be used to pay for "Monitored" Photocopier, Printing or Scanning services on the associated devices located in the Library.
These funds may ALSO be used to pay for premium printing, document binding and other services available from the Print On Demand (POD) centres located at various sites at each campus.
Please note:
- Cash refunds from UniSA Student ID cards are NOT available under any circumstances.
- It is strongly recommended that patrons do NOT add large cash amounts to their Student ID cards.
- Only the amount of cash required for your immediate photocopying or printing needs should be added.
Casual User Cards
Casual User cards can be obtained from the Autoloader (vending machine) located in the library. Cost is $2.00, and the card is pre-loaded with a $1.00 worth of photocopying credits.
Casual User cards are registered on the Monitor Photocopier System with ONLY a card number. They are NOT registered with any of your personal details.
Casual User cards are therefore ANONYMOUS.
Because they do NOT contain your UniSA LOGON username, they can only be used to pay for photocopying on the Library Photocopiers, and CANNOT be used to pay for PRINTING on the Library Printers.
However, such funds MAY be used to pay for operator assisted "premium" printing and binding services offered at the POD centres.
Please note:
- Cash refunds from Casual User photocopying cards are NOT available under any circumstances.
- Lost Casual User cards cannot be replaced and any funds left on them when lost cannot be reimbursed.
- It is strongly recommended that patrons do NOT add large cash amounts to their Casual User photocopying cards. Only the amount of cash required for immediate photocopying needs should be added.
