STUDENT monitored printing
This page provides an overview for Students of the "Monitored Printing" service as used in the POD at City West and on the "Monitor" enabled MFDs (Photocopier / Printers ) installed in the Library.
"UniSA Print Quota" v "MONITOR printing / photocopying account" - the differences
- the "Monitored Printing" service, and your associated "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account" has NO RELATIONSHIP to the UniSA Student "Print Quota" system in use in Student Computer Pools.
- the balance of your personal "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account" has NO RELATIONSHIP to the balance of your "Print Quota" account.
- The balance on your personal "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account" can be updated by you at any time by adding cash to your account using an AUTOLOADER as located in the library.
- The balance on your "UniSA Print Quota" account is updated periodically by your school, depending upon the particular course you are enrolled in and other factors.
- balances held in your "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account" and your "UniSA Print Quota" account are NOT interchangeable
How is MONITORED printing charged?
- Via the "Monitored Printing" service, the costs of printing carried out on any "MONITORED Printer" are charged back to the logged-on user's "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account".
- The "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account" used is the same account which is used to charge for PHOTOCOPYING carried out on any "MONITORED Photocopier" located in the Library or elsewhere in the Uni.
- Your "logon username" AUTOMATICALLY links to your "MONITOR Printing / Photocopying Account" whenever you logon to a UniSA computer from which MONITORED printing has been enabled.
- In turn, this account was AUTOMATICALLY linked to your "UniSA Student ID Card" when it was first issued or subsequently re-issued.
