Short courses
The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences offers a range of informative short courses taught over summer school:
- Drugs and Society. This one-week course provides a fascinating look
at the full spectrum of drugs, how they work, and their effect upon
society. It is a BUGE course that can be chosen as an elective by
students from any discipline.
- Preparing for Health Sciences workshop. This four-day course aims to
equip students about to commence degrees in any of the health science
disciplines with the basic scientific knowledge that they will need in
their chosen program.
- Preparing for Science workshop. This four-day course aims to equip students about to commence Nursing and Midwifery degrees with the basic scientific knowledge that they will need in their chosen program.
