Career exploration award
Two annual Career Exploration Awards of $2K will be made to senior
postgraduate students, for the purposes of supporting their investigation
into research collaborations and career possibilities. This could, for
instance, involve a coordinated set of activities such as attendance/
presentation at an international conference, together with arranged visits
to leading institutions/ researchers.
Applications are invited for this award by October 31st, 2007. Applicants
should submit a written proposal, to include:
- Thesis title, and expected date of submission;
- Clear objectives for career exploration activities;
- Planned schedule of activity; and
- Detailed costing.
In addition, applicants must submit a current and updated curriculum
vitae, and a confidential supporting reference from the primary research
supervisor.
