The Sansom brings together a unique breadth of internationally recognised research in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Our fields of research expertise are categorised under the following three major areas:
Quality Use of Medicines
Broad areas of interest include: quality use of medicines, medicines policy, pharmacoepidemiology, complementary medicines, health systems, pharmacy practice, ethnopharmacology, pharmacy education.
Molecular Medicine
Broad areas of interest include: early origins of adult health, inherited diseases, immunity, cancer, infectious diseases, vaccines.
Pharmaceutical Science
Broad areas of interest include: pharmacokinetics, computational and molecular pharmacology, drug formulation, drug delivery, experimental therapeutics, drug analysis, pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics, venoms research.
