Work experience
All Pharmacy students must undertake a certain number of hours of work experience in a pharmacy setting as part of their program. It is the students’ responsibility to find relevant work experience themselves. The placement coordinator will provide further detail, but before beginning their program, students should be aware of the following:
- Police checks – all students in the Division of Health Sciences who are required to attend placements must first obtain a National Police Certificate.
- Work experience locations – a list of pharmacies that may be willing to take on students for work experience placements.
