Bookings and events
An
expanding bubble of hot gas from a stellar explosion produces
copious X-rays as it rams into cooler gas around it. The bubble,
which is in a nearby galaxy, spans about 150 light-years. Blue
and white regions produce the most X-rays, so they are hottest,
while red regions are coolest. |
