Strategic Intent
Planning and Assurance Services (PAS) contributes to corporate performance through supporting and improving processes and frameworks for management decision making. Its main functions are:
- Development and implementation of strategic information management and reporting competency in the University.
- Development of, and support for, corporate and local planning and review processes with appropriate tools, communication, project management, information gathering and analysis as required.
- Support for a pervasive quality improvement culture in the University.
- Providing statistical information and undertaking data analyses, data modelling and market research to support management and strategic decision making.
- Supporting enrolment planning through provision of domestic market data and research, and management of student load models.
- Support for the University's evaluation framework.
- Provision of an independent, objective assurance activity designed to add value to University operations, through improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
