Evaluation (surveys)
Corporate Surveys conducted by Planning and Assurance Services
Planning and Assurance Services is responsible for administering a number of surveys on behalf of the University. These include:
- the Australian Graduate Survey (AGS), which incorporates the Graduate Destination Survey (GDS), the Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ) and the Postgraduate Research Experience Questionnaire (PREQ). The AGS is sent to all recent graduates and is a national benchmarking activity of Graduate Careers Australia (GCA). The survey is conducted as a year long process and data is sent to GCA in September each year.
- the Australasian Survey of Student Engagement (AUSSE), developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Refer to the Step 2010 website - click on Resources for Staff.
- the Student Experiences Questionnaire (SEQ), which is a UniSA survey administered every other year to all onshore students studying at UniSA. In 2008 the SEQ has been replaced by the AUSSE and it is likely that future SEQs will be focused on unpacking issues identified in the AUSSE
- the Transnational Student Experiences Questionnaire (TSEQ), first conducted in 2005, and repeated in 2007. The survey involves transnational (offshore) students studying in English and Mandarin
- the Transnational Graduate Survey, which is the offshore equivalent of the AGS.
