AAIR Data Warehousing Special Interest Group Forum 2006
17-18 July 2006, University of South Australia, Adelaide
Forum Presentations
The Australasian Association for Institutional Research (AAIR) Data Warehousing Special Interest Group was formed in early 2006 as a result of interest in the use of data warehouses and business intelligence (BI) environments at universities in Australia and New Zealand. The group, suggested at the 2005 AAIR conference, now has over eighty registered members from over 35 universities and related organisations. A listserv is available for members to gather and distribute information, and post queries about the use of data warehouses and BI environments. This forum will be the first occasion where members of the DW SIG have an opportunity to meet each other, view presentations on relevant topics from both within and outside the sector, and discuss informally the issues faced in collecting, storing and reporting on data in a university environment.
