The Business Intelligence team
The Business Intelligence (BI) team is responsible for:
- establishing and coordinating the University’s BI strategy
- developing and managing a corporate wide BI application environment
- establishing a comprehensive and consistent enterprise data resource meeting the information needs of the University.
Purpose
The University's BI framework is designed to
- facilitate and improve the agility and competitiveness of the University
- empower staff to make better informed decisions and actively
contribute to corporate performance - enhance processes, methodologies, metrics and technologies used in performance monitoring and improvement.

The BI team achieves its purpose through:

The Team
The team works closely with Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS).
The BI team members are listed below and cover the following areas of expertise:
- Stella Birve - BI training, DEEWR statistics, enterprise data warehouse.
- Andrea Matulick - Cognos 8 migration.
- Duncan Murray - SATAC data, enterprise data warehouse.
- Richard Waddicor - data quality, security, BI environment administration.
