Gender Responsive Budgeting: Workshop for Senior Government Officials, RMI, March 10 and 11 2003Ministry activities that have a direct OR indirect impact on teen pregnancyParticipants audited their ministries activities to identify how the work of their ministry either directly or indirectly impacted on the issue of teen pregnancy. Specifically targeted teen pregnancy programmes had a direct impact on the issue of teen pregnancy (e.g. counselling teen mothers). These specifically targeted programmes are limited in number. A large number of ministry programmes, although not designed to deal specifically with the problem of teen pregnancy, nevertheless may i have significant indirect impacts on the problem. Ministries identified a number of programmes and areas in their work that had important indirect impacts on teen pregnancy.
